This volume falls in between the volumes 013 (dreaming guitars), 034 (laidback tunes) and 161 (on the road ) . The music is a blend of rock and rock blues tracks,full of electric guitars, distorted lap steel, 12 strings, electric and acoustic piano. It isn't country music but it works very well for driving videos and the like. If you're looking for a lot of energy without the heaviness of metal or cinematic tracks this album would do the trick. The atmosphere is generally upbeat and confident with some moments of introspection. The whole has an 'on the road' feel to it and blend nicely in any road movie style film, video or commerical. |
